From their first summit on Monte Aquila, Hannah and Matteo—she an American, he an Italian, both passionate about photography and lovers of outdoor life—have made the mountains a part of their home. To this day, they are fascinated by the adrenaline that only trekking can provide, exploring various via ferratas and winter mountaineering routes such as Monte Amaro from Rava del Ferro.
