Mauro Ronchi

After 30 years of walking, he picked up Nordic walking poles for the first time in 2018 with the intention of engaging in amateur sports. The spirit of an athlete and the desire for challenge took over: in 2020, he started participating in the first competitions. Race after race, he learned the rules and honed his training more and more. Since that year 2018, he has attended and continues to attend events organized by various organizations, including FIDAL, Libertas, AICS, ENDAS, ENWO, EMA, and ONWF, achieving a lot of satisfaction.

He has achieved various Italian FIDAL and European EMA titles, as well as first place in his category in the World Cup ONWF event held in Tirano (2023). Among his most trusted coaches is Roberto Paglianti, another athlete from Team Gabel, who, regardless of the geographic distances, has followed and helped him progress in this discipline.
