Cristian Javier Simari Birkner

Cristian Javier Simari Birkner was born in Bariloche, in the Argentine Patagonia. Skiing is a family passion that takes him to Italy at the age of 9. During the World Cup in Madonna di Campiglio in 1990, watching Alberto Tomba on the slope makes him realize that skiing is his future. He competes in his first World Cup in Sestriere in 1997.

His career continues to progress, leading him to compete in over 200 World Cup races, 4 Olympics under the Argentine flag, and 14 World Championships. In addition to being the FIS athlete with the most races completed (over 1,400), he has won more than 16 South American titles
