SKI MOUNTAINEERING POLE – FEATURES:

Telescopic pole with exceptional performance for winter and summer activities. Upper tube in extruded aluminum alloy and 7075-T651 die for aeronautical use. High modulus carbon lower tube, very resistant and ultra light, with Kevlar reinforcement for high protection from impacts against edges during freeriding or off-piste. Equipped with significant height range, with the possibility of adjustment from 100 to 140 cm. Easy and practical, with optimal balance, the shortening for use in fresh snow. 2 pairs of classic disc and SS POWER wheels are included, for ideal use in ski mountaineering, back-country, snowshoeing, off-piste alpine skiing, freeriding during the winter. By applying the smaller wheels it is very valid for trekking. Biomatrix Click model handle with safety release system: a simple pressure of the index finger allows the release of the hand strap which, in emergency situations, detaches independently with a tension of approximately 40 kg. For safety reasons, release is still recommended of the handrails when skiing off-piste or in fresh snow above 20 25 cm. With temperatures above 20 degrees, replacing the wheels is also recommended. Pole particularly recommended for ski mountaineering due to the construction of the lower tube in Carbon and Kevlar and for the presence of a second grip (TOUR GRIP) located under the Biomatrix grip, to be used for uphill routes by inserting only the thumb inside of the handrail (see photo). The locking system created with an internal spacer of approximately 70 mm keeps the internal tube perfectly coaxial with the external one thanks to the difference of approximately 4 mm in the diameters of the two tubes. Multi-Fit Carbide toe cap, with exceptional grip on any snow and ice, not afraid of any type of terrain including granite, stones and rock, for perfect use even on the most extreme trekking.
