X-CURSION VARIO F.L.K. – Gabel all-mountain poles

The X-Cursion Vario FLK poles are adjustable-length all-mountain poles. They are particularly ideal for experienced skiers engaging in ski mountaineering, freeriding, or snowshoeing. They feature the Biomatrix grip, a grip design engineered to ergonomically adhere to the shape of the hand.

The Biomatrix is complemented by the Touring foam, an extension of the grip in soft foam that provides more grip points, useful in uneven terrains and during ascents. The grip is also equipped with the Click system, a safety feature that allows the release of the World Cup strap through a button, and in the event of sudden falls with an imposed force of at least 40 kg, it is automatically released.

The shaft consists of two tubes, with diameters of 16 and 12 mm, telescopically joined. The upper tube is made of F60 aluminum, while the lower one is made of Carbon with a Kevlar coating. The combination of Kevlar, Carbon, and aluminum has resulted in a durable yet lightweight model. It can be adjusted from 100 to 140 cm in height and has excellent balance between the upper and lower parts. The sections are secured by the Multi Lock system, consisting of two locking systems, one internal and one external. Internally, the T.P.L. (Top Performance Locking) creates a double friction point, enhancing the fixation of the Mono Lock clamp technology.

Thanks to the Multi Fit Carbide tip, these poles have excellent grip not only on snow and ice but also on granite, stones, and rocks
